Birmingham Deer Expo - July 2008

We had a great time at the Birmingham Deer Expo held July 18-20. Things started a bit rough on Friday afternoon as our original booth (#606) had severe issues: a giant column in the middle of the booth (at the back edge) and one of our neighbor’s booth protruded a foot or 2 into our space. Bob Coker, the show’s owner/organizer, quickly resolved that and moved us upstairs to Booth #028. We quickly got setup and soon they opened the doors to the public. In attendance representing OutfitterPros.com was myself (Michael McLain), Chad and Denise Faulkner, and Dennis and Justin Patterson.

Here are pics of some of our current outfitters - they all had kind words to say about our site and that they we’re booking hunters from the leads received via OutfitterPros.com.
We also met a lot of new outfitters that expressed interest in signing up with us. Here’s a pic of The Sanctuary Too booth - these Ohio whitetail deer outfitters have some tremendous preserve and free-range hunts.

Here’s a pic of Grant Wright from Ft. Payne Alabama who won the “Kentucky Turkey Hunt for 2″ prize that we donated to the show. He’s really pumped about the hunt - especially after we told him about all of the birds seen and killed in 2007.
Well, that’s about all to report. We had a great time at the show, met a lot of nice folks, and got lots of good exposure for OutfitterPros.com.
